successful leagues on the planet,
with over 45 million views and
over 125,000 subscribers.
Other emcees that I feel really
represent the AHAT brand
are: Danny Myers, Diesel, Dre
Vishiss, Scheme and Jay Scott.
Those emcees either have
crazy wordplay, dope schemes,
punches — what like to call
“power bars” — presence, and
will step in the ring and kill
almost anyone.
Dana WasHere: Now as a
league, what have been the most
rewarding and most annoying
aspects of the business?
OD: The two most rewarding
things about AHAT have been,
for one, the ability to pay artists;
that’s probably the dopest part
of AHAT to me. Even though I
Dana WasHere: What’s the rest of
2014 looking like for the league?
What should we be on the lookout
for?
OD: Our California division
is going to be making a lot of
noise, moving forward. Expect
to see some great battles and
some new stars coming from
the AHAT Cali division. Of
course all of our divisions will
be putting on some dope battles
and have some dope prospects
establishing themselves, but
the Cali division seems to have
the deepest roster of talented
emcees. So expect to see more
classic battles and dope emcees.
Dana WasHere: I noticed you have
an official site. Will the site be a
bigger aspect of the brand?
OD: A couple of weeks ago, our
cards. I don’t foresee us doing
any huge cards anytime soon,
but you never know. Things may
change.
Dana WasHere: What can people
do to get the oportunity to battle
on the league?
OD: Emcees who are interested
in participating in our league
should fill our the registration
form located on our website:
http://www.ahat.tv/ emceeregistration.
Dana WasHere: In closing, do you
have any parting words for the
people?
OD: I would like to thank all
of the fans and supporters of
AHAT. It’s been a blessing doing
these battles for you guys. It’s
been a great six years. I would
like to thank all of the emcees

haven’t been able to pay emcess a
lot, I have been able to pay a few
artists and it’s cool to be able to
pay the lil’ homies.
Number two is probably when
people stop in the streets and tell
me that they watch my videos
all the time or they say that
AHAT is dope, and this usually
happens a few time everyday. It’s
just a great feeling to know that
someone actually appreciates our
work. To me, there’s no “most
annoying” part. The good far
outweighs the bad and makes
the bad look like insignificant
issues that can be fixed.

As we move forward, we are
going to try new strategies to get
the next 1 million hits to our
website in a shorter time than six
years.
Dana WasHere: Progress is a
process, most definitely. Lots of
leagues are trying pay-per-view;
is there a chance we will see that
from AHAT?
OD: PPV is something worth
considering, but it would have to
be on a huge card. Our business
strategy is built around doing
smaller cards, but if we do put a
huge card together then you will
see us use PPV. We have been
extremely successful at putting
up huge numbers with smaller
who have battled in AHAT. I
would also like to thank the
AHAT staff: R&B, Prime, Core,
Big Kree, Menace, Danny Myers,
Jeff and the rest of the team. RIP
Fresh Ave and Big Kev. Free Fatz.
Dana WasHere: Alright, OD. It’s
appreciated. I am looking forward
to seeing what AHAT has lined
up. Also, thanks for taking the
time to sit down with us.
OD: Thank you, I appreciate
you and your time and look
forward to seeing the article.
Nice meeting and interviewing
with you. Peace.
