It went down in the city of the Chi!
“The Crown”, hosted by Go-Rilla Warfare was held at the popular Chicago Southside night club, Adrianna’s on
March 29, 2014. The event brought out a lot of heavy hitters. Several of our favorite battle rappers and their ca mps
came out to represent. The card even gave those new to the game a chance to mingle with celebrities, fans and
other supporters of the culture. There were many surprises and a few let downs. However, the consensus held was
that “Charlie Clips vs. Hitman Holla” was the battle of the night. Aye Verb gave us what he says will be one of his
last performances before moving on to pursue acting. “Big T vs. Big Kannon” closed the night like true “Chicago
n***as” and put on for their city.
