Tsu surf tsu me Production: YUNG SAM, THE LEGION OF BOOM, MONEY MONTAGUE, PIFF BEATS, TRUNKKNOCKAZ, RICH THE RULER,MIKE ZOMBIE,TURTLE Getting to Know Tsu Surf is getting to know the streets of Jersey. With this project it seems as if Surf was indulging with his own personal issues of balancing a career while still facing time. On “Not Forever” prod. By Young Sam, he speaks out with not just bars but definitive one liners like “If he never fell down, how he knows wassup? & even when you know everything you don’t know enough”! Simple but powerful! This is Surf ’s strong point! His pen moves parallel with the streets. None is more evident on “Never Forget” where he claims there’s “so much shit to do I need a longer day, road to riches sometimes I feel like we took the longer way! Friends? I seen a few that made left instead of going straight, while some pit stop for pussy and met enemies along the way”!!! Though Surf kept this project very personal and underground, “Red Dresses” prod by OVO’s Mike Zombie and featuring MMG’s Wale & Gabrielle Findley shows his crossover appeal with his slick talk. “Loving how you give it up, them neighbors bang! Who gives a fuck? And once we done she’ll be stuck, cuz you know, face drippin, ass gripping, new 110 rating system weekend, it’s different”! The stand out record on this project is clearly “House In Virginia”. Surf ’s story telling really shine’s with lyrics like “Karen phone vibrating when Joe’s there, luckily he got up! Close shit, it was Qway they been texting for weeks, even paid her phone bill & Benny Hanna’s to eat! Lebron Size 6 surprising her with Sneaks, hit da city for some drinks and she ain’t even let him beat! ‘What you doing’? Are You free? Well throw something on, Im a pick you up.... Joe came in the room about slide, Karen was getting dressed, had to make up a lie... Damn And the lying’s when it all starts/ ‘Babe I’m bout to head with Mecca out to Walmart’.” Not going by typical standards this track lengths over 8 minutes but the listeners will appreciate Surf ’s Vision with this one! The Tsu Me project is dope and sure to please Surf fans. It seems he’s at a point musically where Either you get it and your able to relate or it ain’t for you! He may be unwilling to compromise with “mainstream hip-hop” which is Daring but in the same breath you have to respect it! ****RATING**** •Basura (Weedplate) •Needs Work •It’s Aight •Dope •Undeniable ✔ •Needs to Be Signed
