would you like to travel to battle,
that you haven’t battled at already?
Danny Myers: I would like to
battle overseas, and KOTD
Toronto, because I’ve already
battled for the West coast (fresh
coast) division, London, and
Australia. As far as the states I’ve
been pretty much a lot of places.
But yeah never overseas, so all
of the other countries would
definitely be a good look. I pretty
much don’t worry so much as to
where I travel to battle, just as
long as I have a dope opponent.
Novie Blendz: Cool, and those
would be some great places to
go and battle. Now who are your
top 5 list of male and female battlers?
Danny Myers: Out of the guys:
Daylyt, Lotta Zay, KG the poet,
Big Kannon, and B Magic. Out
of the females: Ms. Hustle, Jaz the
rapper, Bonnie Godiva, Gattas,
and Ms. Fit.

being both the President of
AHAT and a Battler?
Danny Myers: I wouldn’t say that
its easy, but it’s something that
I’ve already been doing. It’s just
that now I officially have the title
attached to it. As far as match ups,
I can tell what would be good
and I understand the behind the
scenes stuff that goes on. Since I
am a battler I can connect more
with the talent because I have a
better understanding of what the
rappers go through. I am one of
them so as the president I am in
tune with the battlers, and I know
the in’s & outs of what is like to
run a league. Sometimes though,
it can be stressful. Until I became
president I had no Idea that so
many dudes carry on like women
(lol) and act like “Total Divas”.
Novie Blendz: True, I guess it
comes from so many battlers
wanting top tier everything, but
not willing to put in the work.
Do you have any advice you
want to give to an up and comer?
Danny Myers: I would just tell
them to definitely study the craft
and do your homework first before
you jump in fully. Find out what
it is these guys are doing and what
makes a person become good.
Look into what sets them apart
identity wise, because everyone
is influenced by someone, but of
course put your own spin on it
and be original as possible. Don’t
try to sound like the next guy,
otherwise you’re NOT going to
STAND OUT.
