supporters. I do get love from
the female battle rappers. How
could you not show me love when
I repost your battles. I have a
following just like them so some
of the battle rappers are busier
than others so you need someone
to show your material. You need
the views. That’s what you’re doing
it for. The views get you exposure
and exposure gets people to buy
your music. I don’t get paid for
this. It’s all out of love. So the
battle rappers show me love, but
some don’t. For some reason they
attack me. Why? I don’t know. I’m
assuming because maybe they had
a battle and I didn’t think they
won, but besides a few I do get
love.
Jon Rines – So how did you get
on Battle Rap Arena?
NuNu Nellz – Actually, Instagram.
I made it two months ago, I don’t
rap, I’m not on there naked and
it’s like I got followers that quick
(Laughs). So it’s like, Norbes
posted he was looking for a cohost. I was joking around and said
“That’s my spot!” I was just joking,
but I reposted it and told people to
give me a hundred likes to know
it’s real. I got like two-hundred
likes and people started tagging
him. Don Lady started threatening
him, jokingly and he hit me up
and told me when it’s airing and
I was just crazy promoting it.
Couple of battle rappers kept
posting it and my followers started
reposting it and that was it. Now
I’m on Battle Rap Arena.
Jon Rines – Congrats on that!
They needed a female and it
works too.
NuNu Nellz – I know! (laughs)

Jon Rines – (laugh) So how was
the first show?
NuNu Nellz – Everyone treated
me like family. It was a great vibe.
It’s supposed to be like an ESPN
feel. Actually Norbes started it
off. Normally you don’t want to
cut anyone off, but you gotta cut
Norbes off (laughs). People was
tweeting and on IG telling me, “Yo
turn up! Turn up!” Cause Norbes
would keep talking so when I came
back from our first break, I was
turnt up (laughs).
