vouch for me. So my leash was a
little bit shorter as I transitioned
to the difference of street and
stage battles. I had to change my
approach to appeal more but that
was on a battle to battle basis. In
the process of style changin and
perfectin my performances ive
still been whoopin ass and takin
names tho lol. But anyone whos
followed my career knows ive had
a complete 180 in improvement.
Go back to my first battle vs
Hash 100’s... Then to my most
recent battles to drop vs Archie
Stacks...Complete turnaround.
And I thought consistency and
improvement was supposed
to be appreciated? But im still
considered a vet in this, but also
considered somewhat unknown.
Part of that is my fault for not
blogging n speakin out more tho
I can admit to that. But also,
Ive had battles locked in with
Shotgun Suge and Lotta Zay....
Both backed out. Had a battle wit
Bill Collector this June.. He was
arrested days before the battle..
#freebill ... And had a battle wit
Qp in dat cokehead noshowed.
Smh. So add those four battles
onto my already solid resume, and
ALL my battles drop, think of
where I could be...
Shanae Ami: What role do you
wanna play in the culture ?
Young Scripts: Well id prolly
continue with a little ghostwritin,
helpin up and comin battlers from
the Upstate area get a chance to
display their talents on the right
stage, and maybe continuing to
develop a battle league in Buffalo.
41
Shanae Ami: Why haven’t you
made it on the URL stage ?
Young Scripts: Lol...Ive battled
for URL four times now. I battled
Black Haze, Young Stacks, and
Bliss Creed all on PG cards.
None ever dropped. My battle vs
Hash dropped tho and I was the
co-main event to Suge vs Tay Roc.
So ive been there, jus need to be
there more on a bigger stage and
against better comp.
Shanae Ami: Are your
aspirations for the big stage still
as strong as before when you
first started ?
Young Scripts: I think more now
than ever. Cuz Im more knee deep
into the game so my confidence
and talent is much better. Plus
certain people on the staff not too
big on my style and talent so I
wanna get up there n wreck shit to
prove em wrong about me...Ima
fierce competitor..
Shanae Ami: Do you feel like
a missing link to elevating the
URL ?
Young Scripts: Yes. Well, one of
em... I wont sit here n act like
im da only missin piece, but I
mos def am one of em. I bring
too many original concepts n
bars to the table not to be. Im
one of the few that gives a damn
about if we coo cuz im tryna
show im the best so ill battle any
and everybody. I love battlin the
niggas that eveeybody is duckin...
jus to see what da fuss is about.
Plus URL needs battlers thats
polished with their performance,
and is constantly improvin. Check
da game tapes. Ive never choked,
never stumbled, and I get better
EVERY battle. You can count
on one hand how many other
battlers you can say dat about.......
LITERALLY
Shanae Ami: Have you and URL
resolved y’all issues?
Young Scripts: There was no
MAJOR issues between me and
URL. Its a business and numbers
game. Some ppl on the staff
rocked wit me, some didnt think
I was good or profitable... I can
respect both opinions. But I
wanted that opportunity to prove
any doubters wrong on the main
stage, while some of the staff
believed I should do that on a PG
event. Which I felt I was beyond
needin to do because of my
resume and takin on and clearly
beatin proven vets such as O-Red,
Kannon, etc..... And thats where
we disagreed and had a stand still
at. But I tucked in ma pride and
went out and took one of the most
dangerous and feared underrated
battlers this year in Bliss Creed
on a PG card.....And I 3-0’d dat
nigga....CLEARLY....So I feel I
proved maself and I chopped it
up with URL afterwards and we
straight now.
Shanae Ami: This is the part in
my interviews where you can
respond to rappers or call out
anybody. Is there any one or
thing you want to address with
out me asking ?
Young Scripts:I wanna address
the constant ducking and fuckery
behind it. Im not tryna sound
cocky.......well......yes I am...But
the reason niggas duck me is:
1. Im nice
2. IM NICE
