100 Bars: What has been your
greatest accomplishment so far
since you have been battling?
Danja Zone: I made it to URL
in less than a year of battling, I
was on BET, and I also was voted
Battle MC OF THE YEAR at
the Baltimore Crown Awards in
2012...I have accomplished a few
things and I plan to accomplish so
much more.
100 Bars: What do you feel is
the most important elements of
battle rap?
Danja Zone: Lyrical ability,
presence, performance, delivery,
punchlines, flow, showmanship,
style, originality, etc. Rhyming is
also important.
100 Bars: Do you have anybody
on your radar?
Danja Zone: All top tiers can
die...O-Red is dope. Big T can
die because he thinks he’s dope.
Clips can die because he USED
to be dope. Verb can die because
he’s as arrogant as someone who is
actually dope...I can go on forever.
100 Bars: You and Ah Di Boom
are always going back and forth
is that someone you would want
to trade bars with in the future?
Danja Zone: No...Unless someone
has a substantial amount of money
for me. I give him shine online...
He should thank me for that
100 Bars: What are some things
you would like to see happen in
battle rap?
Danja Zone: I would love for it to
continue to expand. I would love
for it to appear back on national
television explicit and unedited.
I would like to see famous artists
battle each other or us battlers
100 Bars: Tell us something
about you that nobody would
know.
Danja Zone: I’m down to earth.
I’m funny as shit and goofy
when I wanna be. I can be shy
and standoffish. I love movies,
especially scary ones and I LOVE
TO EAT but people might know
that last one.
100 Bars: Any crazy fan
moments?
Danja Zone: Nothing too crazy
yet...Mostly normal stuff so
far. I’ll let ya’ll know if I have a
menage-a-7 due to my rap status.
100 Bars: When you retire from
battle rap what mark would you
like to leave on the culture?
Danja Zone: One of the greatest to
ever do it.
