We then decided to expand on our video and each do our two favourite eras so in total we did 6 eras. We also added another element to our video where we all picked items from our wardrobes that reflected these eras and then put on a catwalk show and recorded it. We merged these recording together along with some new interview footage. We also added voice overs where we spoke about the impact each era had on fashion and also music that related to each era.
When looking at our get the look video I feel proud of the work that we all created as I know we all put great effort into and I feel that our hard work paid off. I think we did well with creating a unique idea as it was unlike any one else’s video. We all had a lot of fun creating the video.
If we had time, to have improved, we would have gone back to the V&A and reshot our interviews there as the location was pretty and a lot more effective than the plain white background that we had to use however we didn’t have the time to do this.
I felt that our video informed our viewers very well. We included key information and not too much of it so the key facts should have stuck in their heads and been memorable. I think we engaged with the audience well and they enjoyed our video because of how different it was and also due to the variety of clips that we included- interview and catwalk. I also think we presented confidently , giving key information before the video explaining why we chose to do the video as we did and why we chose each era. We also explained to the audience the improvements we would have made. If we hadn't have been restricted on time I would have liked to have shown the entirety of our video as we put a lot of hard work into it.
