Message from the Editor in Chief
In this issue of 1WPJ, we are excited to expose students to the magnificent space that is right next
door, The Newark Public Library (NPL). Xhensila does a great job capturing this historic building
where RBS students can opt to use NPL for study rooms, computers or for just a visit.
NABA, National Association of Black Accountants, Inc., is featured as our Club of the Month, in order
to get more students involved with this great organization. Moreover, this exciting issue captures
how technology delivers news at this digital era in Where Do You Get Yours News? You will also get a
chance to read about Professor York in Spotlight: Professor of the Month, where he advises students to
get involved and network as early as possible.
Read up on Dean Battle-Brown’s message, which will remind you that it’s time to regroup and
freshen up after Thanksgiving!
Hope you enjoy this issue. We are excited to bring news and information from One Washington Park.
Best Regards,
Froozan Makhdoom
