STEP 3 :
Get planting ! Position your plants where you want them and place them in the soil . Parsley can give a great ‘ tree ’ effect , and moss or chives work well as grass . Tiny elfin thyme plants can work well as a bushy forest ! Water these lightly . Aquarium stones and gravel can make excellent pathways , and matchsticks or lollipop sticks in a row make a lovely fence ! See what you can forage , recycle and reuse .
STEP 4 :
Depending on your vision , it could be that all your natural elements are now in place . If you ’ re introducing any buildings or characters – or one GIANT overlord ! – add them in now !
STEP 5 :
Position your marvellous mini garden near a sunny window so it gets lots of light , and when the compost dries out , water it carefully . Allow it to completely dry out before watering it again . Your mini living garden is now complete !
