A modern day example of this can be seen in the old way of producing photographs, where
the negative roll is taken from the camera into a dark room. The negative roll has chemicals
applied and is then taken through a process. After that process is completed, beautiful
pictures are brought into the light for everyone to see. This illustrates a bit what God does
with us. He sometimes takes us into the dark, not because He’s mean or uncaring, but simply
because He has work to do. God then reveals in the light what He’s made in the night and we
see the truth of the fact that He does His best work in the dark!
