There are some sins that are habitual by nature that can so easily cripple our
spiritual lives. These sins are generally moral, ethical and, in general terms, would
be classified as sins of blatant disobedience. We tend, in many ways, to not want
to talk about these but the fact remains that there will be no fruit while you are
stuck in the mud. God is so passionate about helping you out of this “stuck-in-themud” dilemma that He was, as we said, willing to get down in the mud with us in
order to lift us up. Is this not exactly what Jesus did when He left the glory of
heaven to come to this sin-sick world to show us another way and to get us out of
the mud!
Prayer Thought: Could it be as you look at your own life that there may be areas in
your life where you may need to be honest with yourself and acknowledge your
need to get out the mud. Won’t you confess these to God and surrend ??????????)??????????1?????????
