the persecuted Christians of that time would have been able to weather the
storm of torture, hunger and pain because of this one truth. That despite the
sadness of their circumstances, the glory of Jesus has a way of overwhelming it
all. Once you have experienced this, my prayer is that you will become addicted
to the presence of Jesus.
