you have (if you have it), but also to remember that if you don’t have it, never to
fall into the predicament of envy of those who do. Your sufficiency is to be found
not in your possessions or position but is to be found in the person of Jesus.
Prayer Thought: As you go to worship God today, won’t you go with a picture of a
level playing field. That in God’s eyes, there is no one person more valuable than
another. We are all of incredible value to God and I say again, we do not measure
God’s value of us by our circumstances, but we measure it by the cross. Come to
church prayerfully with this attitude.
