The International Counselors Program (ICP) represents a joint effort between the undergraduate admission and outreach offices of five American universities and one home-grown university here in Education City: Weill Cornell Medicine-Qatar (WCM-Q), Virginia Commonwealth University Qatar (VCU-Q), Carnegie Mellon University Qatar (CMU-Q), Georgetown University Qatar (GU-Q), Northwestern Qatar (NU-Q), and Hamad bin Khalifa University (HBKU). ICP offers a wonderful platform for international counselors flying in to Qatar to learn about our academic programs, and the enormous opportunities available to international students, and explore our state-of-the-art facilities. This year 34 international counselors came from France, Korea, Pakistan, Bahrain, Ethiopia, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Spain, Switzerland, China, Kuwait, Nigeria, Indonesia, Thailand, Nepal, British Virgin Islands, and India.
