EB ’ s Mission
With sea levels rising , your job is to start planning for the future ; you ’ re going to design your own eco floating city . What would that look like ? How would it work ? The keywords you ’ ll need to keep in mind are ‘ innovation ’ and ‘ sustainability ’. We need this floating city to be ecofriendly and future-proof . EB wants you to explore the many aspects of this idea using your amazing imagination and research skills , to then produce an annotated ( labelled ) drawing of your design .

This concept of a floating city is HUGE . It ’ s impossible to know where to start , what the restrictions are , what the possibilities are , and what is even actually realistic . The aim of this activity is for you to think about what makes sense to you , and what you would like in your made-up floating city . There are no right or wrong answers ! Below is a list of things for you to consider as you start to put your ideas together . Once you have a concept – don ’ t forget to give it a name ( EB ’ s AQUAQUILAPARADISE ?… ok , it needs some work ) – and sketch it out for us !
