I know EVERYONE says this , but I LOOOOOOOOOOOVE AQUILA ! My favourite issue is definitely the Chocolate Issue ( April 2022 ). I live
in Australia , and I ’ ve been reading since April 2020 ! I was wondering if you could do an issue on World War II , as I LOVE history . I ’ m in the OC class , which is an extension class , and I ’ m very curious , so AQUILA mags are perfect for me ! BYE !!! From Teddy , age 11 P . S . Tradition time !

I know some people say this ( and that ) and sometimes this ( but mostly this ), but I love AQUILA !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ( That ’ s a lot of exclamation marks !) My first issue was Spies & Sleuths ( October 2023 ), but I have had two back issues since : Dinosaurs ( September 2021 ) and Pompeii ( September 2022 ) – the crazy thing is that there is one year in between !!! Book recommendation alert !!! Minecraft the Island by Max Brooks . Shout out to anyone who recommended a LEGO issue !

Hi Tula ! Please introduce yourself to your fellow AQUIL Anauts !
I am 14 years old , and I am home educated . I have two younger sisters . I don ’ t have any pets but I have been asking for a dog for ages and my parents have finally said that we might get a dog in October ( yayy !).
Pepe says that sounds like a great idea ! What hobbies do you have ?
My favourite hobbies are dance and music – I play the flute , harp and electric guitar , and I am also in a band called ‘ The Blue Dots ’ and we go around playing gigs . In December I travelled around India for three months with my family and it was amazing .
Brilliant ! You sent us a wonderful email about performing with the English Youth Ballet – when did you take up ballet ?
I started ballet at the age of three ( so , 11 years ago ) and at the age of seven I did a ballet show , and ever
since then I have been obsessed . To get into the English Youth Ballet I had to go to an audition where there were 200 other dancers aged 8 – 18 all wanting to be chosen . We had to wear a number on our leotards , so the adjudicators knew who we were . They asked us to do some ballet moves and at the end of the audition they called out the numbers which got chosen … and they called out my number ( eek !!!).
What show was it for ?
The production that I was in was Coppélia and I was a villager . On the first day , they took photos of us to put in the local newspaper . There were
rehearsals every Saturday and Sunday and then
every day throughout half term . When it was the day of the show I was sooo excited . I had a really cool changing room with light-up mirrors and spinning chairs ! When I was on I felt amazing , and at the end of the show I was really sad to leave the English Youth Ballet , but I am hoping to do another audition soon ( fingers crossed I get in ).
We ’ re keeping everything crossed ! So , does this mean you want to be a musician or a prima ballerina when you grow up , or something else ?
When I grow up , I want to be a surgeon or a doctor , because I love how the body works .

My favourite issues are Harry Potter ( June 2017 ) – big Harry Potter fan here – Chocolate ( April 2022 ) – because who doesn ’ t like chocolate – and Spies & Sleuths ( October 2023 ).
