The ultimate cruise ships
Back in 1912 , the Titanic WAS pretty epic . The dining room was the largest ever seen on a ship . The ship also had a live orchestra , a Turkish bath AND a swimming pool . GASP ! But today , we expect more from our cruise ships (… a satisfactory number of lifeboats would be a nice start ! Ed ) and the people who design them are adding more and more bonkers things to entertain their passengers in new ways . We ’ re talking NEXT LEVEL luxury and FUN !

Charles Darwin once said , ‘ If it wasn ’ t for seasickness , all the world would be sailors ,’ and maybe he had a point , especially on a ship made for fun . The biggest and newest cruise ship , Icon of the Seas , has space for 9,950 people onboard ( 2,350 crew , 7,600 guests ). It has a full-sized theatre for shows like The Wizard of Oz , PLUS a second theatre on an ice rink ! This ocean-bound theme park has a wave simulator where you can learn to surf , a climbing wall , and a waterpark with SIX waterslides , seven pools and its own massive 16.7-metrehigh shapeshifting waterfall ! It also has more than 40 different places to drink and eat . ( Sounds pretty increds , but I still want more , more , more . Ed )
