When Burger Saloon co-owner Phil Perry first saw the building at First and Main , he thought , “ This could really be something .” He ’ s been proven right for the past nine years . Burger Saloon is the kind of place where neighbors knock on the window to wave hello when they ’ re walking by . The restaurant ’ s brick-and-wood interior — plus the decorative upright piano — gives it “ that old-timey feel ” that fits right into historic Downtown Woodland . Though the kitchen is tiny , Perry says that made it all the more sensible to do food that ’ s easy to push through to the hordes of hungry diners that have made this their go-to burger joint . As the restaurant ’ s slogan says , Burger Saloon is “ Where Woodland Meats !”
