Airport is a testament to
the power of partnership

Sacramento McClellan Airport at
McClellan Park is the nation’s largest
privately owned public-use airport.
The airport, on the site of what once was
McClellan Air Force Base, boasts vast tarmac
space, enormous hangars, the world’s
largest aerial fire-retardant base and a
nearly 10,600-foot runway to accommodate
large planes. The airport is home to
many aviation-related businesses, as well
as Coast Guard and firefighting fleets, and
makes a convenient airfield for business
travelers.
McClellan Park is the parent company
of Sacramento McClellan Airport
and its fixed-base operator, McClellan Jet
Services. McClellan Jet Services provides
services to all aircraft at the airport, from
general aviation to large air tankers, and
facilitates other airfield operations such as
aircraft maintenance and hangar rental.
