Bassani was rated as a good rider until he was the somewhat surprising pick for the Motocorsa Ducati team’ s foray into WorldSBK in 2021. Axel would become the top Independent Rider before joining KRT in 2024. This is year two for him in the BbKRT squad.

Bassani était considéré comme un bon pilote jusqu’ à devenir, un peu à la surprise générale, le choix de Motocorsa Ducati pour son arrivée en WorldSBK en 2021. Axel s’ est ensuite imposé comme le meilleur pilote indépendant avant de rejoindre KRT en 2024. Il entame sa deuxième année dans l’ équipe BbKRT.

Sofuoglu had already won races for Yamaha in the 300 class and secured one win for MV Agusta in the WorldSSP category. Last year he rode for the same Motoxracing Yamaha squad he will compete for again in 2026- and he took one top ten race result.
