JAKE DIXON
OFFICIAL PROGRAMME
In a championship where British riders have found success so often over the years, Jake Dixon is the latest new ex-BSB race winner to enter WorldSBK. Like his old Moto2 rival Sam Lowes, Jake has not had a direct introduction to WorldSBK, having entered Moto2 in 2019, and having been a fixture there ever since. Seven race wins and 22 Moto2 podiums in all have shown Dixon to really have the speed required for global competition. He will not be a complete rookie in 2026, as he raced as a wildcard at Donington in 2017, scoring a top ten in one of his two races. On a factory Honda for his first full WorldSBK season this year, why should Dixon not make a good go of it from the off?

Relatively consistent pace on the fast, if sometimes unpredictable, HRC Honda CBR1000RR-R over the past four years has seen former Moto2 rider Vierge earn a place in the official Yamaha WorldSBK squad in 2026. Highly professional, easy-going on the outside, Vierge is the opposite of demonstrable in his off-bike life but a true competitor once on the racetrack. Taking over the bike that WorldSBK legend Jonathan Rea last rode should not faze the quietly confident Vierge, who is one of many riders in the paddock with a real point to prove in 2026.
