Old Town Pizza is Placer ’ s most beloved pizzeria , consistently winning “ Best of the Best Pizza ” awards for both their original Auburn location , which opened in 1999 , and their Lincoln location , which opened in 2004 . The restaurant expanded to Roseville in 2015 and recently purchased another building in Downtown Lincoln that ’ s spurring revitalization in the area . For the past 23 years , Old Town Pizza has been the go-to restaurant for “ by the slice ,” takeout , delivery or sit-down pizza pie that ’ s “ good as gold .”
