USI Enjoys Expansion Through Acquisition and Organic Growth
USI Insurance Services , Inc . is proud to welcome 34 new employees to the local team in the past year . They are excited to have expanded in critical growth areas of Acquisition as well as hiring for Producers and Service positions to provide additional resources for their clients .
USI recently acquired Ames-Grenz
Insurance Services , Inc ., a leading employee benefits agency in Northern California . Ames brings 14 insurance professionals , their outstanding reputation and their distinguished clients to the USI family .
“ We continue to fully integrate them into our team while adding USI services and solutions , which brings even greater value to the current expert service already provided ,” says Stephen Elkins , Northern California regional employee benefits president and practice leader . “ We ’ ve also continued organic growth during the pandemic , hiring three new Producers and four new Associate Analysts this past year .”
USI Employee Benefits Producers provide consulting and brokerage services and work with companies of all sizes , from multinational to small regional businesses .
Property & Casualty is also expanding , adding new Producers and Associates to service and grow consulting services for middle- to large-market clients . To complement its work in the middle market , USI has developed a select market division under new leader Obie Scott , which offers the firm ’ s national power and scope to small and emerging businesses . “ This division enables businesses spending at least $ 5,000 on insurance to access our vast resources ,” says Scott , Northern California regional select practice leader . “ Small businesses may have thought such service was beyond reach , but we ’ ve opened that door .”
Select team Producers may graduate to the middle market team . “ We currently have eight in Northern California , a marketing person and a service team and look to add four more Producers ,” Scott says .
