We started putting together Comstock ’ s Young Professionals issue shortly after race horse Rich Strike had a stunning , come-from-behind upset victory in the Kentucky Derby . We thought that exciting show of determination and hard work would be a fun theme for our photo shoot . We chose the sophisticated elegance of Canon restaurant in East Sacramento as our backdrop and asked the young professionals to come dressed for fun as if they were going to a Kentucky Derby party . Big hats , bright colors and zest for life . We hope you enjoy this photo spread as much as we did putting it together .
