여기에서 원의 의미는 '거품'이다. 흔히 '거품'경제라는 말을 쓰듯 거품은 크
고 대단해보이지만 손가락 하나의 터치로 사라져버리는 무의미한 존재이
다. 이 작품 곳곳에서 보이는 거품들은 작품속의 모델들, celebrity들에 씌
워진 거품이다. celebrity가 대중 속에 보여지는 모습은 그 인물 본연의 모
습이 아닌, 사람들이 창조해낸 이미지에 기반한 모습이다.

love your face. It’s an uncommon
theme in
children and their grace.
If mother and father float Up
belly up out of a
s h a t t e r e d skeletal
of an attic dormer,
you are lucky,
lucky to have leather skin pinned on you
like the dates in September,
lucky to be born with
a new sense of thick on that dome
to have not heard
their tragic swamps of eyes beckon
you from below the window ledge;
see, you have no scrapes
nor budding white hatches
beneath your eye bags, the nose bridge,
the turgid pink lungs.
you don’t have a pretty face
being born in a bursting place
but lucky
incredibly lucky
to have swum it out alive.
