Didactics: We offer high-quality didactic sessions over the lunch hour, both in person and virtually for two weeks of the month. These didactic sessions include morbidity and mortality conferences, journal clubs, and faculty-led presentations. Once per month, we have an afternoon procedural workshop session, focused on more hands on learning, including training on procedures related to sports medicine, women’ s health, and POCUS. Once a month, we have an afternoon didactic workshop session, where we take a deep dive into a disease or body system in an interactive method which includes case vignettes, short didactives, small group sessions, and board preparation. Twice per week, we hold resident-led, case-based morning reports.
Twice per month, Halifax Health- Continuing Education has a 60-minute Grand Rounds presentation of timely medical topics, pertinent to primary care. Residents and faculty participate in these presentations.
