Halifax Health- Family Medicine Residency Program was established in 1969 and is the longest-standing communitybased Family Medicine Residency Program in Florida. We are proud of our rich history of providing high-quality, fullspectrum education and training to our residents in a supportive, diverse, and welcoming environment.
Halifax Health is a safety-net hospital and trauma center that accepts transfers from smaller community hospitals. We are an unopposed program, and strive to improve residency education and the care we provide to our community, through strong clinical learning rotations and experiences, quality improvement projects, and didactics.
