Hello , my name is Aaron Marchand , senior vice president at Turton Commercial Real Estate . I have been actively involved with ACRE for many years and I am honored to be the 2022 ACRE President . I look forward to working alongside my 2022 Board of Directors . They are a team of successful , dynamic and communityminded individuals . We will continue to build on the great foundation set by ACRE ’ s past presidents and boards . The Association of Commercial Real Estate appreciates the opportunity to once again team up with Comstock ’ s and BOMA Sacramento for our annual Capital Region Office Guide .
Based in Sacramento , ACRE is a nonprofit professional association comprised of real estate brokers , owners , developers , property managers and affiliated companies dedicated to improving our community through charitable causes while also providing high-quality business networking , educational and professional benefits to our members throughout the region ’ s commercial real estate industry .
ACRE has helped raise over $ 11 million in charitable donations for regional nonprofit organizations in the Sacramento region . We were honored to receive the Outstanding Philanthropic Organization Award in 2013 . Our philanthropic efforts , combined with the strong regional
support we provide to the commercial real estate industry , help make ACRE the premier commercial real estate nonprofit organization in the Sacramento area .
ACRE will host our 30th Annual Charity Benefit Broker of the Year Awards on May 26 , which recognizes the top commercial real estate brokers . Our 30th Annual ACRE Golf Tournament will be held on June 24 at Whitney Oaks Golf Club . On Oct . 20 , we will hold our 23rd Annual Developer Showcase Tradeshow — widely recognized as the “ Networking Event of the Year ” in our region . ACRE ’ s tradeshow is an excellent platform for developers , owners and brokers to market their latest projects and services , as well as a great opportunity for commercial real estate-affiliated companies to exhibit their latest technologies and capabilities . In addition to our signature annual events , we hold events such as our Development Project Spotlight presentations , which often include tours of the hottest new CRE developments and redevelopments in our region .
