With a strong culture of diversity and inclusion , SAFE Credit Union is proud to introduce two of its most dynamic leaders serving the Capital Region .
Alexiss Abad , senior assistant vice president of retail operations and readiness , oversees change management , process development and improvement , and consistency and quality within SAFE ’ s retail network . With the support of other SAFE leaders and teams , she oversees and partners with other departments , ensures the right processes and practices are in place , that branches have the necessary awareness and tools in place , and that frontline employees feel valued , engaged and empowered to succeed .

Across the organization , women hold positions of leadership and influence . Ashleigh Erickson , assistant vice president of Contact Center sales and training , oversees SAFE ’ s Contact Center training program , the overall employee experience and the Contact Center ’ s productivity . She is passionate about people and the wellbeing of her team is her top priority .
“ Looking at SAFE today , it ’ s easy to find inspiration for female employees ,” Erickson says . “ We have our employee resource group , EmpowHERment , an incoming female CEO and countless other strong women across the company . I think it ’ s important to think back to well over a decade ago when I started as a service rep and the fact that I have always had strong female mentors and leaders ever since .
