The third-generation family-owned company takes its purpose seriously , and that commitment is embodied throughout the organization . Raley ’ s prides itself in providing employees at all levels with a supportive , inclusive and innovative workplace , and this culture of respect and inclusion has resulted in a diverse workforce with significant and equal female representation across the organization . “ As a purpose-driven company , we think and act differently ,” says Croff . “ Our commitment to selling healthy food , our charitable giving , and our dedication to respect and inclusion are but a few examples . It is only natural that this is reflected in our gender balance and diversity at the highest levels of leadership in our organization .”
The company ’ s leadership team takes seriously its commitment to serve and support all employees with five promises : Empowering team members to seize opportunities for growth , leading with passion and purpose , communicating openly and honestly , celebrating employees with meaningful recognition , and promoting a healthy work-life balance . With four unique leadership development programs , the company prepares team members for future job opportunities and promotion within the organization . A rigorous selection process has resulted in a bench of diverse leaders , with nearly 50 percent of the next generation of leaders being women .
“ My mother-in-law , Joyce Raley Teel , led the way in our company , establishing the importance of women in leadership . Today , that tradition continues , and I am honored to work alongside today ’ s women leaders .”
