Welcome to the Superbike World Championship in Assen! The TT Circuit celebrates its 100th anniversary this year and we are extremely proud to start our season with the Superbike World Championship. An event that has everything that makes the fans’ motorsport hearts beat faster: 1 ticket for all the stands, competitive races, an open paddock with lots of entertainment, free pit walks, free admission for young fans and podium ceremonies close to the public.
On Friday we organize the special TT Junior Day. We will welcome more than 1200 primary school students from Assen and the surrounding area. There is even a special Kids Pit Walk! In this way we involve young fans( and their enthusiastic mothers and fathers) in everything that makes our sport so beautiful.
What I’ m also looking forward to is the WorldWCR or the Women’ s Circuit Racing World Championship. Half of all new motor driving license holders in the Netherlands are women, a trend that we also see in our well-filled stands. How nice that the women’ s championship is also visiting our circuit. Together we will make it a great weekend.

Welkom bij het Wereldkampioenschap Superbike in Assen! Het TT Circuit viert dit jaar haar 100-jarig jubileum en we zijn ontzettend trots om ons seizoen te starten met het Wereldkampioenschap Superbike. Een evenement dat alles heeft wat het motorsporthart van de fans sneller doet kloppen: één ticket voor alle tribunes, spannende races, een open paddock met veel entertainment, gratis pitwalks, gratis toegang voor jonge fans en podiumceremonies dicht op het publiek.
Op vrijdag organiseren we de speciale TT Junior Day. We verwelkomen ruim 1200 basisschoolleerlingen uit Assen en omstreken. Er is zelfs een speciale Kids Pit Walk! Zo betrekken we jonge fans( en hun enthousiaste moeders en vaders) bij alles wat onze sport zo mooi maakt.
Waar ik ook naar uitkijk, is het WorldWCR, het speciale WK voor vrouwen. De helft van alle nieuwe motorrijbewijshouders in Nederland is vrouw, een trend die we ook zien op onze goedgevulde tribunes. Wat leuk dat het vrouwenkampioenschap ook ons circuit aandoet. Samen maken we er een mooi weekend van.
