The Tissot-Superpole Awards are earned by riders from the WorldSBK, WorldSSP, WorldSSP300 and WorldWCR classes who accrue the greatest number of points over the year in the specific Tissot-Superpole qualifying sessions. A relatively recent addition to the existing Tissot-Superpole Awards set-up occurs in the blue ribbon WorldSBK category alone. Points are also now awarded based on the final results of each ten-lap Tissot-Superpole‘ sprint race’, all of which take place on Sunday mornings.
De Tissot-Superpole Awards worden uitgereikt aan de rijder uit het WorldSBK, WorldSSP, WorldSSP300 en WorldWCR die gedurende het jaar het grootste aantal punten heeft verzameld in de specifieke Tissot-Superpole-kwalificatiesessies. Het WorldSBK kent daarnaast een relatief recente toevoeging aan de bestaande Tissot-Superpole Awards-opzet. Er worden nu ook punten toegekend op basis van de eindresultaten van elke tien ronden tellende Tissot-Superpole‘ sprintrace’, die op zondagochtend plaatsvindt.
The Pirelli Best Lap Awards were designed as a tangible and public reward for riders in the WorldSBK, WorldSSP, WorldSSP300 and WorldWCR categories who secure the fastest race laps in their respective classes. The fastest rider over one lap of each‘ long’ race receives a physical trophy from Pirelli during each Paddock Show celebration. The final rankings and the overall award are given out at the end of the season. In the WorldSBK category, which features three races in total at each round, only the full-distance race results will count.
De Pirelli Best Lap Awards zijn in het leven geroepen als erkenning voor rijders die in de WorldSBK-, WorldSSP-, WorldSSP300- en WorldWCR-categorieën de snelste raceronden neerzetten in hun respectievelijke klasse. De snelste rijder over één ronde van elke‘ lange’ race ontvangt een trofee van Pirelli tijdens elke viering van de Paddock Show. Het eindklassement wordt aan het einde van het seizoen opgemaakt, waarna de overall awards worden uitgereikt. In de WorldSBK-categorie, met in totaal drie races per ronde, tellen alleen de resultaten van de langere races mee.
