TITO RABAT ANDREA LOCATELLI
As a former MotoGP™ class regular Rabat clearly has vast experience, but at 35 is still younger than some WorldSBK regulars. A new WorldSBK chapter opens for him in 2025 as he joins the Motoxracing Yamaha team on the cross-plane engined R1.
Until a tough 2024 season, when he finished seventh,‘ Loka’ had been a top five WorldSBK finisher each year. He enters this season with 18 career podiums- and a burning desire to join the race winner’ s club after a few close calls.
Als voormalig vaste MotoGP™-rijder heeft Rabat duidelijk veel ervaring en met 35 jaar is hij nog steeds jonger dan sommige vaste WorldSBK-rijders. Een nieuw hoofdstuk in het WorldSBK begint voor hem in 2025, wanneer hij zich aansluit bij het Motoxracing Yamahateam op de R1 met crossplane-blok.
Tot een lastig seizoen in 2024, toen hij als zevende eindigde, was‘ Loka’ elk jaar een van de vijf beste WorldSBK-coureurs. Hij behaalde tot dit seizoen al 18 podiumplaatsen in zijn carrière en heeft een groot verlangen om zich bij de winnaarsclub aan te sluiten na een paar nipte bijna-overwinningen.
