pouring into the English vocabulary. A lot of the newly-coined words have
their roots in Latin and Greek, such as ‘oxygen’, ‘nuclear’, ‘vaccine’, and
‘protein’.
Others were just created to give names to new inventions, such as ‘train’,
‘engine’, ‘electricity’, ‘hydraulic’ and ‘camera’.
