HGA ’ s Sacramento team runs a studio dedicated to the health care sector that is

Denis Stroup , principal and practice group leader , explains , “ We have long-standing relationships with existing clients that seek us out for repeat business . However , in our mission to transform environments of health , we strive to listen carefully to a client ’ s request and use the depth of research and benchmarking we have from working with clients nationwide to respectfully challenge the status quo .”
HGA ’ s differentiator in the marketplace is that research-driven perspective in their approach to design and construction . The firm ’ s Design Insight Group specifically assesses post-occupancy evaluations and utilizes what they have learned from previous projects in planning new projects . “ We ’ ve developed this process of continuous learning , refinement and improvement , and we build upon that project by project ,” says Greg Osecheck , principal .
HGA ’ s regional health care projects include the recently completed emergency / ICU expansion at Sutter Roseville , the NICU renovation for Mercy San Juan in Carmichael , the Fowler Medical Plaza in the town of Fowler , and currently under construction , the Ernest E . Tschannen Eye Institute at the UC Davis Medical Center in Sacramento .
“ Within the Sacramento region , we will continue to serve current clients and expand relationships to clients we haven ’ t yet worked with ,” Stroup says . “ We don ’ t pursue projects , we pursue relationships , and out of relationships come projects and repeat business .” Osecheck adds , “ Ultimately , our goal is to help our clients provide the best health care they can for our community .”
