Zócalo Cocina Mexicana
The newest location of Ernesto Jimenez ’ s popular elevated Mexican eatery opened in Folsom ’ s Broadstone Plaza in September 2020 , becoming the fourth Zócalo in the region to offer the restaurant group ’ s authentic cuisine and signature “ true Mexican hospitality .” Zócalo offers a delicious twist on traditional staples like ceviche , cochinita pibil and pozole rojo — pork simmered in a red chile broth with hominy , cilantro , onion , cabbage , radish and roasted chiles — that pair well with the extensive cocktail list .
