Each September , The Lions Club Foundation hosts its Annual Golf Tournament and a Holiday Toy and Food Drive in December . “ This undertaking provides food and toys for families in our area and brightens the holidays for many citizens of Vadnais Heights ,” said Mike Woehrle President / Global Action Team Chairperson for the Vadnais Heights Lions Club Foundation .
The Lions Club Foundation ’ s longest running activity is its Vadnais Heights Community Food Program , also referred to as the Food Shelf , which operates at Vadnais Heights Commons ( 655 County Road F E ) on the 3rd Saturday of each month from 9 a . m . to 10 a . m . “ Each month we provide food for those suffering food insecurity in our community . Since the beginning of the pandemic , we have also delivered food to senior citizens living in our area ,” said Woehrle .

partner on a $ 1,000 scholarship program for graduating seniors at three local high schools : White Bear Lake Area High School , Mounds View High School and AFSA , the Agriculture , Food and Science Academy in Vadnais Heights .
