At the Buerkle Road station , a new signalized intersection and sidewalk improvements along Buerkle Road will be added .
Next steps for the project include publication of the Environmental Assessment in May 2021 . The Environmental Assessment will explain why the project is needed , the alternatives that were considered , the project ’ s anticipated impacts to the natural and built environments , and mitigation strategies for those impacts . The public will have an opportunity to review the Environmental Assessment , which will be available on the Rush Line BRT website during the public comment period . Public meetings will also be scheduled during the public comment period .
