It is also a great place to have a business and work in for many of the same reasons. In this publication, you will find information on area schools,
Shop local! We have an amazing shopping mall, the Eden Prairie Center, that fits the needs of all visitors each year. One of our top draws is Scheels, the 254,000 square foot store that draws shoppers from across the Twin Cities and beyond. In addition, Eden Prairie has numerous shopping options located throughout the city, a wide variety of restaurants, entertainment, a distillery and brewery. New restaurants, retailers and entertainment are being added to our community so be sure to check out the latest options. Eden Prairie also offers a local bus service through Southwest Transit-- with a direct line to the Minnesota Twins Stadium, Target Center, US Bank Stadium and downtown Minneapolis. Additionally, Southwest LRT is scheduled to open in the years ahead.
At the Eden Prairie Chamber of Commerce, our focus is to help our businesses grow and prosper through numerous value-added programs, member-specific services, workforce initiatives and talent pipeline, public policy, networking, and young professional development-- Including hosting the Twin Cities Young Professionals( TCYP) Summit annually. We continue to provide resources and opportunities for entrepreneurs and added the Entrepreneurs Bootcamp to help provide the information and resources to help grow and be successful. In addition, the chamber has partnered with the city of Eden Prairie and Eden Prairie Schools on an entrepreneur space at Eden Prairie High School opening in fall of 2024. Don’ t miss another community favorite- the Burger Battle. This is a month-long friendly competition In September to support local business with restaurants offering one burger as their competitor with diners getting to vote on their favorite. There are great things happening In Eden Prairie and we encourage all to participate!
