T5-T6 Siberia
A wide T5 right kink leads to a tricky T6 left ( in reality a double apex left ) that subsequently leads to an even faster right / left sweeping section .
T4 / Miller Corner
An obvious and temping place to try an inside pass . Also an easy place to be re-passed as your rival dives inside for the cut-back on the exit . A very easy place to fall as you ask a lot of your front tyre grip on the right ride at this most lefthand sided circuit .

T3 / Stoner Corner
Another fast one and another left-hander . This one is tricky to get right as you have to maneuver yourself to be on exactly the right line for the next corner while you are often fighting an attack from a rider shaping up to out brake you into the subsequent hairpin .
Axel Bassani , who has a new bike in 2025 in the new bimota by Kawasaki Racing Team , said , “ The layout of the PI track is outstanding . Old style . Really fast . Not so big , but fast . My favourite corner is T3 - Stoner Corner . It is difficult because the winds are always changing . The best ‘ sector ’ of the track for me is the last two corners .”
Gardner Straight to T1 / Doohan Corner
This section of the circuit provides all-time hero-level motorsport imagery , whether you are looking back up the circuit to the exit of the final corner or looking down the seemingly endless Gardner straight . Jonathan Rea , a six times World Champion and an official Pata Maxus rider in 2025 , said of his favourite T1 corner at PI , “ You do have time to appreciate the views into T1 from the straight , but it is a fourth gear corner , hard braking and then back on the gas pretty hard ,” said Rea . “ So , there are a lot of G-forces through the body - and a great view . It ’ s beautiful and challenging , all at the same time .”
T2 / The Southern Loop
This is a big loop as well , as the riders get back on the left side of the tyres , which are simply tortured around Phillip Island . This happens due to the unique track design which leads to high cornering speeds on full left lean for much of the lap .
