DOMINIQUE AEGERTER

A Moto2 race winner , a season rider across several classes before he even put a foot inside the WorldSSP paddock in 2021 , Aegerter was a first-time WorldSSP Champion . He went on to win not just WorldSSP again in 2022 , but take the MotoE title that same year . Now that versatility is personified . He has scored at least a podium in each of his two recent Yamaha WorldSBK campaigns . Injury last year affected his final result , leaving him 16th overall . He has great continuity on his side in 2025 as he commences his third straight season for the respected GYTR GRT team .

REMY GARDNER

For a rider who seems to have arrived in WorldSBK racing quite recently , Remy had started 66 WorldSBK races before the first round of the 2025 season . A Moto2 Champion , his lone MotoGP™ season did not go to plan , but that was WorldSBK ’ s subsequent good fortune . A solid 2023 led to his first podium finish and a fastest lap on the 2024 Yamaha R1 . He will be out for much more in 2025 and maybe he just needs a run of consistent finishes to raise his overall performance . 2024 was not an easy season for any Yamaha rider , so we will see what 2025 brings with some potential machine upgrades .
