Burnsville author releases ‘ Sit Stay Pray ’

They ’ re back . The latest odds , ends and adventures of Lina the dog and her sometimes bewildered “ Momma ,” Burnsville resident Robin Kelleher , are collected in a new book .
Nearly 1,000 book buyers and thousands more readers of Linas- DogBlog . com already know Lina the toy Australian shepherd and her doting but difficult owner .
Their first book , “ Lina Unleashed ,” was self-published in 2017 by Beaver ’ s Pond Press and nearly sold out its initial press run .

During the week , Southview collected over 380 pounds of food to donate , according to Shannon Snesrud , Student Council adviser . “ Thank you to the students and families who helped collect food and bring in items ,” Snesrud said .

Each day the school had a different dress up spirit day and asked for a category of food items . Staff and students had fun participating , said Student Council adviser Molly Andersen . “ We collected 4,163 items of food crushing our goal of 1,500 ,” she said .

Over the past few years , a group of Eagan residents have been urging various commissions and committees to direct at least some airport traffic away from their neighborhood .

The Burnsville City Council ’ s plan to drop the screening requirement for trash containers in single-family neighborhoods is meeting mixed reviews .

Council members said at an Oct . 15 work session they want to drop screening and require only that containers abut the house or an accessory structure . They asked city staff to gauge public opinion .
