MEMBER CELEBRATION- JANUARY
The event , held in January , is the Hudson Area Chamber ’ s annual membership meeting to celebrate the accomplishments of the previous year , recognize new and outgoing board members , and review the Plan of Action for the upcoming year . We will also present awards for Large Business of the Year , Small Business of the Year , Manufacturer of the Year , Chamber Member of the Year , Community Volunteer of the Year , and the Marie Blakeman Award .
HUDSON COMMUNITY EXPO – MAY
Assist in planning the Huson Community Expo , which gives businesses and organizations an opportunity to display and sell their products / services to attendees from the area .
GOLF TOURNAMENT – JUNE
Assist in planning the golf tournament . a networking opportunity for members , and a fundraiser for the Hudson Area Chamber .
SPIRIT OF THE ST . CROIX ART FESTIVAL – SEPTEMBER
This committee coordinates a fall festival for over 9,500 attendees annually that features a large juried art fair , businesses , community organizations , and restaurants , as well as promotions , entertainment , and events for the entire family .

HUDSON CHAMBER FOUNDATION
The Hudson Chamber of Commerce Foundation , a registered 501 ( c ) 3 , has been established to support our community with financial support for local businesses and non-profits to help with workforce development efforts .
MISSION STATEMENT :
The Hudson Chamber Foundation is the philanthropic branch of the Hudson Area Chamber with a focus on advancing education and workforce development initiatives within the Hudson and surrounding area . The mission is to align resources and efforts to develop partnerships between businesses , K-12 and postsecondary education institutions , government , and community organizations that provide the opportunity to attract , develop , and retain a thriving workforce .
HILLTOP PUMPKIN PARTY & ROTARY HALLOWEEN PARADE - OCTOBER
This annual community event is planned by members of the Connections & Coffee Committee . It is a FREE , family fun , outdoor event featuring wagon rides , a pumpkin patch , a kid ’ s costume contest , a petting zoo , pony rides , and EMS and Fire Department vehicles . Chamber members can purchase a booth space at the event to highlight their company .
HUDSON CHRISTMAS TOUR OF HOMES – NOVEMBER
The annual tour showcases privately owned homes and the historic Octagon House to over 1,500 tour attendees . This committee recruits homes to be showcased and assists homeowners as they prepare for the event . An additional sub-committee concentrates its volunteer time to help decorate the homes in the weeks prior to the tour .
HAVE A HUDSON HOLIDAY – NOVEMBER - FEBRUARY 7 , 2025
The Hudson Area Chamber plans several events during the holidays for residents and visitors . Join the fun as we plan Light Up Hudson , Candlelight Stroll , and Santa and His Critters . This committee also works on decorating the community with trees , lights , ornaments , and much more !
WHAT WE DO :
The Foundation builds scholars , leaders , and communities by bringing together educators , businesses , and community members to advocate to meet workforce challenges and needs . The Foundation supports its mission to attract , develop and retain a thriving workforce through :
• Leadership Hudson programming
• Manufacturing Day sponsorship
• Educational seminars and speaker series creation and sponsorship
• Grant needs identification and distribution
