We are the voice of business , non-profit , and community partners throughout Dakota County on county and state-wide public policy initiatives including transit / transportation opportunities , affordable housing , and workforce development . The DCR Chamber is your advocate for Dakota County businesses through effective public policy . We continue to provide a unified voice for our members at the local , state , and federal levels on issues . We serve on a variety of economic growth initiatives and issue-based coalitions for a variety of areas , including transit and transportation , business retention , and workforce housing . In 2022 , the DCR Chamber will be continuing its work on the Transit Network Opportunities recommendations , as well as working with our member businesses on recovery through the COVID-19 pandemic .
