BUS SERVICE The Minnesota Valley Transit Authority ( MVTA ) provides bus service to Rosemount residents . Express bus service is available during rush hour from the Rosemount Transit Station and along 145th Street ( between downtown Rosemount and Diamond Path ) to and from the downtowns of Minneapolis and Saint Paul . The MVTA also operates Flex Route 420 between Rosemount ( including DCTC ) and Apple Valley . During the Peak Period , Route 420 is unable to perform route deviations , but during other hours , riders may board bus 420 Flex Route along its route or make a reservation for the bus to travel off-route within the designated area as shown on the printed pocket schedule . This service operates Monday- Friday . Call ahead to make a reservation at ( 952 ) 882-6000 .
