• Run Now , Gobble Later 5K and Fun Run : Gather your friends , family and neighbors on a brisk November morning with a 5K and fun run . Join us at the finish line for music , coffee , hot chocolate and delicious eats from a food truck .
• Winter Lighting Ceremony : Burnsville ’ s Heart of the City is lit up each year with more than 200,000 mini lights , 200 streetlight snowflakes and a 30-foot tree . The ceremony , held annually the day before Thanksgiving , offers entertainment by local youth choirs and holiday treats .
