Benefits from PWU
Donation
The Power Workers’ Union (PWU) Bruce
Site Equity Committee has been in place
since early 2006 and its purpose is to
make cash disbursements of Bruce Site
equity funds to local organizations and
causes to assist our local communities.
The PWU Bruce Site Equity Committee
makes these disbursements on behalf of
all 2600 PWU members who work for
Bruce Power and it gives us great
pleasure to make the following presentation. A donation of $2500.00 is being
provided to the Shallow Lake Community
Centre to assist them with upgrades to
their Sound System. Accepting the
cheque on behalf of the Shallow Lake
Community Centre is Crusher President
Gary McMillan who is a PWU member at
the Bruce Power site. Presenting the
cheque is Linda Crombeen, Chief
Steward – PWU and member of the Bruce
Site Equity Committee.
