Thank you for supporting SEEDS Connections™, Alberta high school students, and the organizations
working to creating a world in which we all wish to live.
The events in this 2016 Celebrating Alberta’s Diversity Charity Calendar showcase the tremendous human
diversity throughout our province. Our goal with this student-led initiative is to encourage all Albertans to
plan their visits to surrounding communities to coincide with events taking place throughout 2016.
In addition to capturing the beauty of our communities, this calendar contains nearly 100 public events, religious holidays and United Nations observances to celebrate our cultural & ethnic diversity, ability diversity,
gender & sexual orientation diversity & religious diversity. Each page also features a CONNECTIONS™ student
their “Be the Change” projects in your community.
