The new BiaCare LegAssist™ - BK with Shelf product is designed specifically for
patients with chronic/acute lymphedema that has caused disfiguration to the lower
extremity. Excessive accumulation of lymph fluid can cause a steep change in
curcumference, or a “shelf” as illustrated in the pictures below.
PLEASE NOTE:
BiaCare guarantees that every custom garment will be made to measurements provided. To ensure that the correct
measurements have been taken, BiaCare requires that the person who will be measuring complete the following
before a custom order will be accepted:
1) VIDEO: The person measuring agrees to watch the instructional videos at BiaCare.com
2) WRITTEN INSTRUCTIONS: The person measuring agrees to read all of the written
instructions for measuring. Written instructions can be found on page 61, online at BiaCare.com,
or emailed/faxed by contacting Sales@BiaCare.com.
